Often, we are asked by heirs and others who are blessed to have received a large cash windfall, what, in our opinion having handled such situations over the past thirty years or so, should recipients do with their new found riches. Not being bankers or wealth advisers, we always refer them to those who are for such professional advise.
That said, we found this article, “3 Things to Do When a Bunch of Money Falls into Your Lap,” from Yahoo Finance, a very informative starting point. In her article from the website, credit.com, author AJ Smith’s three points are:
1. Stop and Think
2. Dump the Debt
3. Plan for the Future
All here at Heir Hunters International honestly hope one day to refer you to the article and to introduce you to our bankers and wealth advisers.
Until that day, rest assured that Shar Mansukhani and John Hilbert and the staff at Heir Hunters International will keep searching for your unclaimed money and unclaimed property wherever it might be.
