Heir Hunters International is working on a case involving a family from the City of Pachuca in the Country of Mexico. The Amercian research revealed no U.S. heirs, and the unclaimed funds remain on deposit. Normally, our reseachers jump at the chance to conduct geneaogical research in the archives of a foreign county, but, unfortunately, the US State Department advises against travel in this particular area. To solve the case, Heir Hunters International seeks to hire a researcher to aid it in the State of Hidalgo. Certain facts have been established:
- In 1908, the decedent was born in the City of Pachuca, State of Hidalgo, Mexico.
- The decedent neither married nor bore any children.
- The identity of the parents are known, with the father being born in the State of Veracruz and the mother in the State of Hidalgo.
- The parents married in 1907.
- Both parents rode with revolutionaries during the Mexican revolution, during which the mother suffered a severe “through and through” sword wound in battle.
- The parents only other child was a son, born in 1909 in the City of Pachuca.
- The parents died sometime before 1961.
- The son married during his lifetime, and the couple had two daughters; the names and dates and place of birth are known.
- The two nieces of the decedent or, if deceased, their surviving issue, are the heirs to the decedent and entitled to the unclaimed funds.
